“Birdman” y “El gran Hotel Budapest” acumulan
el mayor número de nominaciones este año, pero “Boyhood” está en boca de
todos.
Pues aquí tenemos “calentitas” y recién “horneadas” las
nominaciones de los óscars correspondientes a los estrenos del 2014, así que ya
se ha puesto en marcha la parafernalia que precede a la entrega que, presentada
por Neil Patrik Harris (al que todo el mundo conoce por el Barney de “Cómo
conocí a vuestra madre”), se entregará en la noche del domingo 22 al lunes
23 de Febrero (hora española).
Desde que hace unos años se decidiera aumentar el número de
nominadas a mejor película en función de los votos concedidos por los miembros
de la Academia nunca habíamos tenido solo 8 candidatas y eso significa que la
gran mayoría de los votos han sido acumulados por estas películas (y que me
perdonen, pero dejar fuera “Interstellar” y “Perdida” me parece
surrealista). Extraño en este sentido lo de “Foxcatcher” porque además
suma cinco nominaciones.
La cosecha cinematográfica cuando menos interesante, como
siempre, no me parece en cambio sobresaliente como en otras ocasiones y además
me da la sensación que está todo el pescado vendido porque este año “Boyhood”
está arrasando en los premios de gremios y asociaciones de críticos y ya se ha
llevado el Globo de Oro a mejor drama. Que ganara por ejemplo “El gran hotel
Budapest” sería un sorpresón máximo, aunque particularmente me encantaría.
La película argentina “Relatos salvajes”, producida
por los hermanos Almodóvar y candidata a los Goyas de este año,
se ha conseguido meter en el quinteto de mejores películas de habla no inglesa.
